A Battle That Must Be Won!!!

We stand against terrorism

As I watched a 20+ mins video I saw on facebook of the Emab plaza bomb blast that happened yesterday – I couldn’t but ponder when all these will end?

I recently had a discussion with a young colleague who is from Rwanda – she narrated how the 1994 genocide in Rwanda wiped out over 1 million people in 3 months. As she narrated some of the things that happened, I didn’t know when tears came out from my eyes. This was the same experience I had today while watching that video.

Wikipedia describes genocide as; “the systematic destruction of all or part of a racial, ethnic, religious or national group via the (a) Killing members of the group; (b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; or (e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group”

I really don’t know the name to call what is happening in Nigeria currently but i know that there is a systematic plan by a group to wipe out another group.

Peace must reign

Nigerians must rise up – we must rise up – rise up and pray – if our earthly government cannot help us, God who reigns in heaven can help & heal our land. Whatever you can do within your capacity and within the legal provision of our constitution – please do.

I will like to debunk claims by some folks who say some part of this country are safer than the other. No where is safe in Nigeria – May we never become victims. This is a collective war – we will fight and we will win.

May the Lord keep & protect all of us wherever we live and may He grant the families of those who have lost a loved one the fortitude to bear the loss.

We are the change that we seek.
Take a stand and make a difference.
